Whacktacular Orly Taitz Gets ze Last Laugh

With apologies to Don Michael Corleone, fellow fictional character/dentist/real estate agent/Birther attorney/crooked eyeliner model Dr. Orly Taitz, Esq. might be tempted to utter–in her thick Zsa Zsa accent–“Every time zhey zhink I'm out, I pull me back zin.”

The Laguna Niguel resident's latest ploy to draw attention to her ever-losing obsession to remove Barack Obama from the Oval Office was a Dec. 28 OrlyTaitzEsq.com blog post titled “It Might Be Time Now.” She suggests the moment may have arrived “to start rallies and protests using our second amendment
right to bare arms and organise in militias.”

The full context:

What is the real intention of this
Kenyan, Indonesian communist usurper? Is it to provide security for us
or to destroy our security? Judge for yourself.

Seeing targeted destruction of our
economy, our security, dissipation of American jobs, massive corruption
in the Government, Congress Department of Justice and Judiciary, it
might be time to start rallies and protests using our second amendment
right to bare arms and organise in militias.

The even fuller context had Taitz going off on Obama's version of homeland security in light of Umar Farouk Abdulmutallab's failed attempt to blow up a Detroit-bound jetliner on Christmas Day. If there is a silver lining to all this it is that Taitz seems to have–at least temporarily–transferred the crazy from Obama to Janet Napolitano, as more recent blog posts show Orly is now organizing rallies to remove the Homeland Security secretary.

But back to Birthering, the sorta-kinda call to arms has created yet another avenue of ridicule against a woman who may now be Orange County's foremost whack job–and that's saying something considering the competition.

Care 2 blogger Aaron Pendell writes in “Comedic Sedition From Orly Taitz Esquire” that the Birther Queen's “call to arms seems more like a plea for
attention. She may even be attempting to distract from an emerging scandal,
presently erupting out of the musings of a former love-struck Birther
disciple. But I don't doubt her sincerity. It's her capacity to be
taken seriously that's lacking.” Pendell then goes into a surprisingly unfunny rewriting of a Braveheart scene where Taitz is cast as William Wallace.

On second thought, calling the passage unfunny is not fair. Dr. Orly Taitz, Esq. surely got a hearty last laugh out of it.
