Critical Mass, the bicycle-awareness movement that has swept the world and at least one corner of Laguna Beach, holds its March ride Sunday, and they've sent along this photo to promote it. That's actually me on my bike after I wrote something snarky about a previous Critical Mass effort. I now know how Washington felt having wooden teeth.
Anyway, the community-wide, drop-in bike ride begins with a social at Scandia Bakery, 248 Forest Ave., Laguna Beach, at 8 a.m. An hour later, bikes push off from the high school parking lot at Park Avenue and Legion.
If you have been before and are thinking to yourself, “Been there, rode that,” think again. Crit-Mass is now amassing new routes for each ride. Sunday's swings by Victoria and Canyon Acres. I pray there are no trees.
