You–not you, sir–can help fight breast cancer while receiving a complimentary bra fitting at various local locations over the next few weeks.
For every woman who tries on a Wacoal or b.tempt'd bra with a fit specialist and signs up to receive monthly reminders to do self-breast exams, Wacoal will donate $2 to Susan G. Komen for the Cure for breast cancer research and community health programs. Wacoal will also donate an additional $2 for every Wacoal bra, shapewear piece or b.tempt'd bra purchased at these Fi(GH)t for the Cure events.
Wacoal cites research showing that 8 out of 10 women are wearing the wrong sized bra and breast cancer being the second leading cause of cancer death in American women as the impetus for the following Fi(GH)t for the Cure events:
– 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Wednesday at Bloomingdales Fashion Island, 701 Newport Center Dr., Newport Beach, (949) 729-6600;
– 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Thursday, April 30, at Macy's Fashion Island, 901 Newport Center Dr., Newport Beach, (949) 640-8333;
