The Road Less Traveled Store in Santa Ana is featured in the new book Green Weddings: Planning Your Eco-friendly Celebration by New York Times Style correspondent Mireya Navarro.
(In the interest of full disclosure, it must be noted that the owner of the store is involved with a certain Weekly staffer who writes a column that rhymes with “Task-a-Texican.”)
Copies of the comprehensive, photo-loaded tome will be about when Navarro appears at the Road Less Traveled Store, 2202 1/2 N. Main St., from 2 to 4 p.m. Saturday.
The shop keep says the book is a wonderful resource for any special event, as are the other local businesses that will be represented at her event.
Come to think of it, if weddings used edible flowers, you could solve the dual dilemmas of decorating and what to serve at the reception. Organic edible flowers, of course.
