From the Krom Family, via Dan Chmielewski of Madison Alexander PR, Inc., The Liberal OC blog and Navel Gazing comments section fame:

The Krom Family appreciates the outpouring of love and all the thoughtful expressions of sympathy you have extended in this time of their most intense grief. The are trying hard to make sense of this tragedy. Their hearts are broken and they know that only time and the support of their family and friends over the coming months will help them begin to heal their world.

Whether through the beautiful flowers that adorn their home or the offer of meals, household support or even rooms for their out-of-town guests . . . every gesture of kindness has helped to mitigate against the intense grief they are experiencing. Know how very much they appreciate all you have done.

Many of you have asked how you can remember Noah through a contribution. The Krom Family is in the process of establishing the Noah J. Krom Foundation to help carry Noah's legacy forward and realize the dreams he held in his heart. Details will be forthcoming about how you can contribute. E-mail Caryn Puma here if you would like to be notified when the foundation is able to receive contributions.

Thursday, June 11th at 7:15 p.m., everyone is invited to pay their respects to the Krom Family at a Memorial Service followed by Shiva prayers. This event will be held at Congregation B'nai Israel, 2111 Bryan Avenue, Tustin. If the lot is full, street parking will be permitted.

The sincerity of your love and affection for Noah and the Krom Family has helped to sustain them during this period of unimaginable grief. On their behalf we thank you for all you have done to ease the pain of their loss.

The family would like to make a memory book. If you would like to write something about Noah to share with the family, it would be welcome. Include photos if you have them. Also include your contact information. Mail to: Krom Family, 7 Banyan Tree, Irvine, CA 92612 or bring to the memorial service.
