On its website, the California Department of Motor Vehicles warns all prospective vanity license plate holders that it “has the right to refuse any combination of letters and/or letters and numbers that may carry connotations offensive to good taste and decency.” Obviously, someone at the DMV doesn't know Spanish–or has a wicked sense of humor.
