It was curious seeing the Los Angeles Times update on that nagging Station Fire among the roll of stories listed on the online edition's Orange County page.
After all, reporter Carla Hall was covering a fire is in northern Los Angeles County, roughly between between Altadena and Acton. That's a good 50 miles from down here. And there was not one word in the piece linking the fire to anything or anywhere or anyone in Orange County, not even about local crews that might be pitching in.

Another look at the headline does reveal the OC connection: “Santa Ana Winds Now a Threat in the Station Fire.”
That's right, those devil winds manufactured by the giant fan atop the Santa Ana train station are wreaking havoc again.
Sorry to doubt you, LA Times.
