As Neftali Pena Procopio spends the next three years in prison for having sex in his car with a 12-year-old girl he plied with marijuana, the Santa Ana 32-year-old can at least warm his heart knowing that he is an award-winner–of our ugliest police mugshot of the week contest.

He could have got 11 years and eight months had the judge thrown the book at him.

Procopio pleaded guilty last month to two felony counts of lewd acts on a
child under 14, one felony count of furnishing marijuana to a minor,
and a sentencing enhancement for substantial sexual conduct with a
child.
He met the girl while he was playing basketball at Santa Ana High School and asked her to sneak out of her home later that hot August night in 2010. He then picked the girl up in front of her Santa Ana residence and drove her to the 300 block of South Ross Street, where they smoked pot and had sex in his parked car.
At least Dreamboat used a condom, which he tossed out of the car.
A Santa Ana police officer passing by around 2 a.m. noticed the fogged-up
windows, wrapped his knuckles on the window and discovered the disgusting scene inside. Procopio was immediately arrested and the girl was taken home to her parents, who
had no idea she'd sneaked out.
