Well, us, we took in some shows, like the Faint (from Omaha!) and Ladytron (from Britain!) at the Grove of Anaheim on Saturday night (read Ned Raggett's interview with Ladytron here) and Canadian prog metal dudes Protest the Hero at Chain Reaction on Sunday.
