On Saturday, the Goliath Festival takes place in Mexico City. The massive show includes performances by the Black Eyed Peas, Thievery Corporation, Pitbull, Crystal Castles, the Faint, Fischerspooner and lots more.
You know who else is included in that “lots more?” Long Beach's On Blast. Now, you might be asking yourself what a local group is doing at such a major event. If you are, you're in luck because I'm a few hours away from hopping on a plane to document our hometown heroes' experience playing in front of thousands of people. And today really is your lucky day because I will be writing about my time with the boys in Mexico City for our sister paper the LA Weekly.
