Long Beach Rapper LMNO Releases Podcast Mix Tape in Prep for New Album

For those entrenched in the independent element of the Long Beach/LA hip hop scene, the name Up Above Records should be pretty familiar. And if you recognize that name, then you're no stranger to the sharp staccato style of rapper LMNO (the Visionaries; LMNO and Kev Brown).  Besides rocking with the Visionaries since 1995, LMNO (Leave My Name Out) spent about a decade releasing his own solo and collaborative work. Combining conscious flows, innovative indie imagination and bags of collegiate vocabulary LMNO is one of those guys who those coming up in OC/LBC's grinding hip hop scene tend to look up to.

Next month, he's adding another brick to a solid career with the release of his new album Devilish Danddruff with Holy Shampoo on Nov. 17. Until then, he's recently put together a special 20 minute podcast–a mix tape if you will–of unreleased  tracks featuring his partners in crime which include DJ LD (of LD and Ariano), Kev Brown, DJ Babu (Dilated Peoples), Mr. Brady Georgia Anne Muldrow and more. Click on the link to the podcast after the jump, and prepare to be cleansed. We've also got the music video for the first Devilish single “Never Stop.”
