Following dates opening for the Fray on a big ol' national tour (one that stopped in Irvine a couple of weeks ago), Jack's Mannequin singer and pianist Andrew McMahon is going out on his own for a bit, with a solo tour that stops at the House of Blues in Anaheim on October 27. Tickets are on sale this Saturday at 10 a.m. for $22.50, and $25 at the door day of show. That's only, though, if you're not a Jack's Mannequin superfan and part of the band's online community–in that case, you can get tickets starting tomorrow here.
It's easy to speculate what a solo tour for relocated OC resident McMahon might involve–new stuff, songs from both Jack's Mannequin and his beloved-yet-on-hiatus-for-years-but-not-officially-dead band Something Corporate. Surely more will become clear when the tour kicks off October 4 in Denver.
