Fox Pomona Theater opens this month…hopefully

This may not be news to most of you in the 909 (or 951, whatever) but for the rest of us who consider The Glass House the only good reason to drive past Diamond Bar, the legendary Fox Theater is set to re-open this month. Pitted in the heart of P-town's colorful Arts Colony, the Fox originally opened its doors in 1931 and carried some of the nations biggest names in vaudeville, radio and motion pictures (just ask your grandparents, m'kay).

Though it enjoyed a rich history, the theater was closed in the mid 70s and has remained in limbo ever since by the surrounding community that fought to keep it alive. These days, Arteco Partners, a historic redevelopment firm has partnered with the GlassHouse for a long haul process of restoring this place to glory.
But even though the theater's website says the Fox will be opening this February, they have not slated an exact date anywhere on the site. What are we to make of this? Anyone have info on this matter?
