Brea's Memory Garden Memorial Park will be a place to remember murder victims today.
Greater Orange County Parents of Murdered Children (POMC) presents the local commemoration of the National Day of Remembrance for Murder Victims from noon to 7 p.m. at the park.

“September 25 has been designated as a nationally recognized day of
remembrance for our murdered loved ones,” reads the POMC invitation,
“yet we know that they are never forgotten.”
Volunteers from POMC will be at the park at 455 W. Central Ave. during those hours to assist visitors, who are welcome to leave flowers around the POMC monument there. Participants are free to stay as long as they like, and light refreshments will be served.
A special invocation will be conducted at 6 p.m.
