There's a new all-you-can-eat sushi restaurant in Tustin at the same parking lot as the Big Lots. Right about now you might be thinking to yourself, “Wait, wasn't there already an all-you-can-eat sushi joint on Redhill near the 5 on the same parking lot as the Big Lots?”
Yes, Virginia, there was. It was called Kami Sushi and it opened three years ago, but in the intervening years, it disappeared.

Now, in the very same spot, Monster Sushi is trying the AYCE concept again and charging a 2013-appropriate price of $25 (Kami Sushi charged $22.95 when it opened) for all-the-rolls-you-can-stuff-your-face-with, some with names like “Ex-Girlfriend”, “Ex-Boyfriend”, and one just called “Sex”. Whether the sushi-eating public will have a longer-lasting relationship with this AYCE restaurant than the last one remains to be seen.
