'Momma Christine's Colored Girls'

Shit’s about to get real this week, when the Terrace Theater hosts a one-night-only performance of Momma Christine’s Colored Girls. The true story of four women reuniting after 25 years is a raw look into the soul of each character and the demons she must live with on a daily basis. Racism, sexual abuse and disease are common threads here, but what lies at the heart of this gripping gospel play is the strength and fire each woman comes to realize is within her. It starts out a little rough, but stick with it. Momma Christine’s Colored Girls evolves into a heartfelt tale to warm the soul.
