You remember how Monster Massive got canceled a mere two weeks before the event was going to be held because it didn't have a venue? Well, Moby got over it. He's now deejaying at Masquerade: A Halloween Costume Ball & Dance Party benefiting KCRW, to be held the same day as Monster Massive was, on Saturday, Oct. 29. In a statement, he says, “Donating my DJ services to KCRW's Masquerade is, as an Angeleno, my simple way of saying 'I love KCRW'.”
So if you bought tickets to Monster Massive especially to see Moby,
don't despair. You can still catch him, along with Dengue Fever,
Mariachi El Bronx, Milages, Rac and 17 of the KCRW DJs, circus troupe
Lucent Dossier and live art from Aaron Axelrod!
Tickets are $75 advance/ $85 at the door, and are onsale at www.kcrw.com/masquerade. The event is 21 and over and all tickets are general admission. It will be held at the Legendary Park Plaza in Downtown LA– 607 South Park View St.
