Michael Ubaldini

The rock n roll poet, “Kerouac in a black leather jacket,” a carnival-working greaser—call Michael Ubaldini what you want, the man is old school country through and through. No diluted western music here—Ubaldini plays concentrated Americana and sings Armageddon blues. Named June 2012's artist of the month by Alternate Magazine, Michael brings his band, The Lonesome Playboys, to the Pike Bar this week for a good ol' fashioned honky tonk get down—drinkin', dancin', singin' and brawlin'. We doubt he takes requests but if he does, ask to hear “My Liver's Bad, My Life's a Mess (And I Blame You, Sweetheart).”
