Micah Brown, Ancestree Reggae, Kounterfeit Change and Pacific Dub to Perform at Rebellious Truths Concert Rally This Weekend

It might sound like a band, but Rebellious Truths is, in fact, an antipartisan organization whose basic tenet is that its members believe both Republicans and Democrats are equally corrupt, and that the future of this country is being squandered.

According to their press release:

We are committed to exposing the truth beyond tainted party ideologies, and educating the youth of America on what's really going on in the US as well as pressuring politicians on both sides, the corporate media, and the various censorship and misrepresentation of the facts. We are primarily visual activists and our videos have collectively garnered over 1.2 million views on YouTube and several No. 1 positions, homepage spots, and most favorited videos.

And because nothing says “fuck the man” better than a concert /rally at the Larry Agran-controlled OC Great Park, that's just what Rebellious Truths is doing. They're holding a “Party Against Both Parties” on Saturday, March 3 at the Irvine Hangar.

The concert, which costs $10 (donation) to attend, will be held from 5 to 10 p.m. Micah Brown (who won the 2011
OC Music Awards Best Live Acoustic Award), Ancestree Reggae, Pacific Dub
and Kounterfeit Change will all be there instead of schmoozing it up at
the OC Music Awards on the same night, but hey–it's all for a good
cause.  The organization will also present political speeches and videos alongside food
trucks and other like-minded kiosks.
