A former math teacher at Nicholas Junior High School in Fullerton cut a plea deal to charges she molested, sexted and had sexually charged phone chats with three boy students, who were ages 13 to 15 at the time.
After copping to three counts of lewd acts on a child age 14 or 15, Melissa Nicole Lindgren was sentenced Friday to four years and four months in jail, according to court records.
In exchange for the plea, four more felony counts of lewd acts on a child 14 or 15 years old and three felony counts of distributing pornography to a minor were dismissed against the 29-year-old La Mirada resident.

The crimes happened during the 2012-13 and 2013-14 school years, when two of the boys were molested on campus and the third was in a car away from the school, the district attorney's office said last year.
Lindgren, who is out of custody on bail, must surrender herself to authorities on Dec. 4 to begin her jail stay.
