This seems destined for a trivia question some day. “Where in the world does McDonald's have an all-vegetarian restaurant?”
The answer would be India.
The company has announced that it will open a pair of restaurants — one in the city of Amritsar and another in the town of Katra — which will serve no meat of any kind. The former is a religiously significant site for the Sikhs and the latter for the Hindus.
