McDonald's Will Open An All-Vegetarian Restaurant

This seems destined for a trivia question some day. “Where in the world does McDonald's have an all-vegetarian restaurant?”

The answer would be India.

The company has announced that it will open a pair of restaurants  — one in the city of Amritsar and another in the town of Katra — which will serve no meat of any kind. The former is a religiously significant site for the Sikhs and the latter for the Hindus.

It's a widely known fact that McDonald's in India does not serve beef, which is considered a sacred animal. This new restaurant will incorporate all the veg dishes of the other India restaurants, as well as introduce new ones.
