Perhaps taking its cue from the success of the McRib and Shamrock Shakes, McDonald's has announced that its new strategy will involve more limited-time offers.
Last year the Golden Arches offered a total of 8 limited-time specials including Asian Chicken Salad, Frozen Strawberry Lemonade, and Angus Chipotle BBQ Burger. This year will have more than the last.
We've already seen the Chicken McBites earlier this year and currently there's a Cherry Berry Chiller beverage. A blueberry banana nut oatmeal will roll out by mid-month. Though the company has not revealed what it has planned in the pipeline, it's currently scouring its global empire for ideas. The Chicken McBites was, after all, an import from Australian McDonald's.
Might we suggest the McBaguette from France or the Local Breakfast (Spam, rice and egg) from Hawaii?
