The House’s new service-industry night, Manic Mondays, gives hard-working hired hands and college students something to brighten this most dismal of days: bypassing the regular $5 cover charge with the simple flash of a college ID, business card or current pay stub. Inside, on the Rose Terrace, the good fortune continues with debit-card-friendly prices on booze—think $3 beers and $5 specialty drinks. Nothing washes away a nasty workday like a margarita. For your sake, we just hope you don’t have anything to do before noon on Tuesday.
