It's not often that an industry rapper like Madchild can go into battle rap and hold their own, but that's exactly what he did earlier this year when he went into King of the Dot's Blackout 5 and took on one of battle rap's most unpredictable forces in the LA-based Daylyt. Since then, the Vancouver-born rapper and member of Swollen Members has been traveling the country touring smaller, more intimate venues, and releasing a slew of mixtapes, EPs and albums, latest being Silver Tongue Devil this July on Battleaxe Records. His OC stop will take him to the Slidebar, where you can take in his brand of quick, aggressive and nasally hip hop for free, which is kind of ridiculous.
