This is the era of the nerd triumphant, and Long Beach Comic Expo is here again to help celebrate, this time with guests of honor Chris Claremont, shaper of the X-Men mythos, and artist Ethan Van Sciver, who illustrated Hal Jordan’s trip to hell and back in Green Lantern: Rebirth. This year also features the inaugural Dwayne McDuffie award for Diversity, which will be selected from five finalists (including Ms. Marvel) at 2 pm Saturday. Plus of course cosplay contests, special screenings … you know the drill, so suit up!
