Live From New York, It's Digging for Fire at the New Port Theater in Corona del Mar

Cinema lovers often stick around after screenings hosted by filmmakers, who dutifully answer any and all questions the crowd throws at him or her. Indie director Joe Swanberg (Kissing on the Mouth, Drinking Buddies, Happy Christmas) will be doing this Wednesday night when the New Port Theater in Corona del Mar shows the most commercial movie he has made so far, Digging for Fire. But Swanberg, his co-writer and star Jake Johnson and moderator Peter Travers of Rolling Stone will be interacting with the OC audience from New York City.

Digging for Fire is the latest presentation from the New York Film Critics, which hosts live, national, in-theater screenings of movies before their wider releases, simulcast in HD and with interactive opportunities for audience around the country with cast members and filmmakers.

Also starring Mike Birbiglia, Orlando Bloom, Sam Elliott, Anna Kendrick, Brie Larson, Ron Livingston, Melanie Lynskey, Chris Messina, Jenny Slate and Sam Rockwell, Digging for Fire has Johnson and Rosemarie DeWitt playing a husband and wife who a sent on separate weekend adventures after the discovery of a bone and a gun.
