Little Boots

Starting off her North American tour, pint-size spitfire Little Boots lands in Orange County and kicks in the door of the Constellation Room. Taking inspiration from such varied artists as Edgar Allen Poe to Britney Spears (who hasn't though, honestly?) to Kraftwerk, the English electropop singer released her second album this year, Nocturnes, to the grasping hands of both club kids and critics alike. Known as Victoria Hesketch when she's not on stage or behind a DJ booth, her soprano vocal range combined with the ability to play a rainbow of eclectic instruments (ever heard of a Tenori-on?) transforms her sound into an electronic musical wonderland. But this was a journey she had to take alone—after singing with the Lancashire Youth Jazz Orchestra and fronting girl-band Dead Disco, Hesketch realized her small feet were made for walking solo. Get ready for an amazing night of electronic infatuation.
