Left of the Dial Records Opens in Seal Beach

Megastores are closing left and right, but vinyl lives on. How else would you explain Fingerprints' expansion and the opening of Seal Beach's newest record store, Left of the Dial Records?

LOTDR not only reads like Lord of the Rings in acronym form, it also specializes in psychedelic, garage, power pop,
shoegaze, '60s and '70s rock, '80s post punk, new wave, punk,
goth and indie rock.

The grand opening is on Nov. 19–but owner Geoff Leamon is throwing a grand opening party at the store on Nov. 18.

The party starts at 7 p.m. and goes on until 11 p.m. The store will have hard-to-find vinyl, and if you bring in an
item on The Seal Beach Animal Shelter's wish list, you will get a 15 percent discount on your entire purchase.

Left of the Dial Records is located at 1065 Pacific Coast Hwy (Pavillions shopping ctr.), Seal Beach. Call (562) 666-6933 for more information.
