Laughing Skull Comedy Festival

Not only is the funny business a near-impossible one to break into, but also no other profession threatens peltings with rotten fruit for a bad performance. For those who dream of telling jokes in the spotlight, the Laughing Skull Comedy Festival might be their chance. Such comedy competitions gave starts to guys such as Ralphie May and Dat Phan, both of whom tour regularly. Within the span of two days, comedy clubs in 25 cities will host a bevy of comedians, all competing for the chance to make it to the finals in Atlanta in April. Proceeds go to charity, but the competition’s winner gets a comic’s dream come true: months of work at clubs around the country and lots and lots of cash.
