So Lady Gaga's latest video, “Yoü and I,” is supposed to premiere on Thursday night on MTV (and a link to the video as her 1,000th tweet) but already, it's leaked all over the internet. The fourth video from her sophomore release Born This Way, it was filmed in Nebraska. There are the requisite barn and cornfield shots for any video shot in Nebraska, but has more characters than the usual Gaga vid. There's a kissing scene with her male counterpart Jo Calderone (eww) and her
mermaid incarnation, Yuyi is also in it. Oh, and there's a Gaga-fied barn dance.

According to an interview with MTV, “Yoü and I” is about taking a journey
to win back the one you love. “The idea that when
you're away from someone you love, it's torture,” she said. “I knew I
wanted the video to be about me sprinting back and walking hundreds of
thousands of miles to get him back.”
