LA Weekly's Gold Standard is Back on March 4

Gold Standard is an annual event put on by our sister paper LA Weekly featuring restaurants handpicked by food critic extraordinaire Jonathan Gold. It's a chance to sample some of the most exciting dishes our neighboring county to the north has to offer, all in one swoop, so you can later restaurant-name-drop to all your foodie friends. Oh, Ramen Jinya? I love that place!

This year, the affair happens from 1 to 5 p.m. on March 4 at the Petersen Automotive Museum in Los Angeles, and the restaurant list is pretty awesome. In true J.Gold style, there's a good mix of high-end and lo-fi, from white-tablecloth powerhouses to luxe loncheras.
