LA Jury: OC's Richest Man Keeps All of His Fortune

The Los Angeles Times reported this afternoon that an LA civil jury has voted to support OC billionaire Donald L. Bren's contention that he doesn't need to pay back child support to two of his adult offspring.

Bren's out-of-wedlock children had claimed they were each legally entitled to receive $400,000-a-month until they became 18 years old.
But after a short trial, the jury told the kids they were out of luck.

According to Forbes, the 78-year-old Bren is the world's 16th richest American with more than $12 billion. He owns estates in Newport Beach and LA. And, as all of us know in OC, he owns the county's largest real estate development company, the Irvine Co. And he is a kingmaker in California Republican politics.
