LA Galaxy to Host MLS Cup Viewing Party at Olde Ship in Santa Ana THIS Sunday

SO…my chica had one of her Patchwork festivals this past weekend in Culver City, and I saw someone I never imagined was into crafty stuff: Jaime Cárdenas, the PR guy for the Los Angeles Galaxy soccer squad. He's a pal, and a graduate of Cal State Fullerton. I congratulated Jaime on his team's success–for those of you sad, sad souls who don't follow soccer, the Galaxy are facing off against the Houston Dynamo this Sunday at the Home Depot Center in Carson for the MLS Cup.

Jaime told me the event sold out weeks ago; when I asked if maybe there was a place where Galaxy fans such as myself could gather and yell, he got a smile on his face. “As a matter of fact,” we're hosting an official viewing party at the Olde Ship” in SanTana.

Yay!

Turns out that the Olde Ship is one of the Galaxy's seven official pubs in Southern California, and the only one in Orange County. Entrance to the Olde Ship this Sunday is FREE–and, even better, a buck off all beers and appetizers. Show up early (game starts at 6 p.m., and see you there!
