Knott's Scary Farm Guest Claims Monsters Harassed Her For Being Overweight

Wenjuan Luo filed the lawsuit Wednesday in Los Angeles Superior Court against Knott's Berry Farm and its owners Cedar Fair Management Inc., alleging assault, sexual battery, negligence, intentional infliction of emotional distress and false imprisonment. She is seeking unspecified damages.

The Weekly contacted Knott's for a statement Thursday morning, but a representative has not gotten back to us yet. We'll update this post if they do.

Luo visited the park Oct. 26, 2013, when she was confronted by the first staffer in the second room of a Knott's Scary Farm maze, according to her complaint, which claims he grabbed her right hand, banged it on a metal pole and then pressed both of her hands against the pole, injuring one of her wrists. The suit also alleges Luo's right index finger was cut, and that the assault and inappropriate language yelled at her left her feeling “humiliated and shocked.”

The confrontation with the second male worker happened in the maze's third room, according to the suit, which claims she pleaded with him to stop, especially during the alleged fondling. Crying, she was pulled away by someone else passing through the attraction, her complaint states.
