A Fullerton man who was off-duty from his job as a Los Angeles police officer was arrested earlier today on suspicion of drunken driving after his vehicle flew off an offramp and crash landed into a McDonald's restaurant drive-thru in Diamond Bar.
Jonathan Chel was taken into custody at UC Irvine Medical Center in Orange, where the 29-year-old was treated for moderate but non-life-threatening injuries.

No one else was injured in the crash, and Chel was the only occupant of the Mazda 3 passenger vehicle. He had to be pulled out by Los Angeles County firefighters.
This happened around 1:15 a.m. near the Brea Canyon Road offramp of the eastbound 60, according to California Highway Patrol Officer Rodrigo Jimenez, who told City News Service there is about a 50-foot divide between the offramp and the Mickey D's drive-thru area.
And, no, you do not get fries with that.
