Joey “Coco” Diaz

Someone else's misfortune can be damn funny. Meet Joey “Coco” Diaz, who, in another life, would've found fame as a hard-knocks knee-breaker on The Sopranos. But here in reality, Diaz discovered his path while serving a brief jail sentence—he wanted to make people laugh. His frank, assertive, R-rated comedy style found him considerable success in the Los Angeles comedy circuit (plus roles in The Longest Yard, Spiderman 2, and Analyze That), now you can see him perform at the Irvine Improv this week. If anything, because you really don't want to piss this guy off.
