Joe Montana, Dwight Clark and Unappointed Ambassador to North Korea Coming to the LBC

Joe Montana, Dwight Clark, Oscar Robertson and the unappointed U.S. ambassador to North Korea are coming to Long Beach Saturday.

The San Francisco 49ers quarterback-and-receiver tandem responsible for “The Catch” are scheduled to join the two NBA Hall of Famers–Robertson and Dennis Rodman–at the Long Beach Coin, Stamp & Sports Collectible Expo in the Long Beach Convention Center.

Robertson leads off signing autographs from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m., followed by Rodman, Montana and Clark from noon to 2 p.m.

Open to the public, the Long Beach Coin, Stamp & Sports Collectible Expo is actually a three-day event running from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Thursday and Friday and 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday. You can buy and sell sports memorabilia, gold and silver, rare coins, vintage paper money, rare stamps and other collectibles and estate jewelry.

Your $8 admission fee is good for all three days (and is only $6 for members of any coin or stamp club; $4 for seniors 65 and older and for children ages 8 to 16; and free for children 7 and younger and for members of the Collectors Universe Collectors Clubs and set registries).
