As I reported two months ago, Costa Mesa has just become the undisputed ramen capital of OC. The first Orange County station of Jinya has now opened not far from Yamadaya and across the corner from the Marukai where, of course, Daikokuya, another LA ramen import, stands. Let's also not forget Costa Mesa is home to the venerable Santoka and others.
The ramen-ya not only serves the long-simmered pork bone soup called tonkotsu, but also a ramen cioppino.
