–Relmon Henry Davis' unsuccessful argument in hopes of overturning his convictions for using a 10-inch knife to demand that an Orange County girlfriend give him 20 minutes of oral copulation after he suspected her of cheating on him. Davis was also accused of beating the woman with sticks to get anal sex on multiple occasions. After a 2008 jury trial, a judge sentenced Davis, now 30 years old, to a term of 18 years to life in prison. Last week, a California court of appeal upheld the convictions.
