Japan KFC Introduces Double Down Sandwich Stuffed With Rice


If you think there was nowhere else to go with KFC's Double Down product development (where the two chicken breast fillets famously became the, um, bread for a “sandwich” that also had cheese, sauce and bacon), check out what Japanese KFCs have made to top it…or more appropriately, what they've done to stuff it.

They've added rice as filling. Not just any rice, but rice that's reportedly “held together” by ketchup. The bacon has been jettisoned, but the cheese is still around, along with more sauce, as if the thing needed anything else but a bun.
What will they think of next? No really, I'm not being facetious. What will they think of next?
