In line with the musical template dictated by both Chain Reaction and Victory Records, we have Jamies Elsewhere. This Sacramento post hardcore band is expert at blending symphonic ELO-esque synthesizers with rapid fire angular guitars, machine gun clip dual bass and guttural screams. The musical pot is sweetened by chubby faced lead singer Aaron Pauley who looks like so many embattled junior high school kids subjected to constant bullying. Not surprisingly, the boy can scream.
