J. Zhou Oriental Cuisine Opens at The District In Tustin

It's been about three years since Pablo's Cantina shuttered at The District in Tustin. Even longer since Bistro West closed in that very spot. Does anybody even remember Bistro West?

Now a new restaurant has moved in. J. Zhou Oriental Cuisine is the restaurant that's owned (at least the last time I checked) by the owner of Happy Harbor Restaurant in Rowland Heights, whose name is Jackie Jin Qi Zhou. As we originally reported two years ago, it, too, was supposed to be called Happy Harbor, but a lot of things can happen in two years.

The restaurant opened yesterday and is reportedly serving Cantonese food.

Still to open at The District: Union Market, which is a mall-within-a-mall concept that will house a handful of eateries in the space left behind by Borders. Union Market is being developed by the same people who brought you The OC Mix in Costa Mesa.
