ORIGINAL POST, MAY 20, 2:51 P.M.: An 18-year-old man was shot to death in Anaheim early today, making him the third young person gunned down in Orange County since late Friday night.

The other two shootings were in Santa Ana:

Anaheim Police say were called just after 1 a.m. to the 1700 block of West Glen Avenue, where residents reported having heard many gunshots. Officers arrived to find the teen and a 21-year-old man who had also been shot.
Both were taken to a local hospital, where the 18-year-old died around 3 a.m.. The older fellow was treated for unspecified injuries and released. Neither has been identified.
Cops have no description of the shooter(s) or a vehicle that may have been involved.
Lt. Bob Dunn, an Anaheim Police spokesman, did disclose the incident is being investigated as gang-related. Anyone with information is asked to contact Orange County Crime Stoppers, even anonymously, at 855.TIP.OCCS or via occrimestoppers.org.
UPDATE, MAY 21, NOON: Police have identified Ivan Rivera of Anaheim as the young man who was shot to death early Tuesday in the 1700 block of West Glen Avenue.
