When Tustin Police went two investigate attacks on three people Friday night–two were stabbed, one was conked in the head–officers say they saw three young men running from the area. The trio was apprehended and they now face possible felony charges.
The stabbing call came in around 8 p.m. Friday from the 14900 block of Myrtle Avenue, according to a statement from Tustin Police Lt. Robert Wright.
Officers found two people with cuts to their arms and a third who'd been whacked on the head with a solid metal object. All were taken to a hospital for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries.
The detained men were identified as Isaak Cardona, 18; Ruben Cardona, 21; and Juan Perez, 19, all of Tustin. (Wright's statement does not indicate if or how the Cardonas are related.)
They were booked into Orange County Jail on suspicion of assault with a deadly weapon.
