Is Orange County KKK Grand Dragon Pulling a Fast One with Clinton “Support?”

An Orange County Ku Klux Klan leader is a Hillary Clinton supporter.

Or perhaps not.

William Quigg, who was one of two KKK members photographed and videotaped being introduced to the hard ground by counter-protesters at a February rally in Anaheim, boasts that he is voting for Clinton and has donated $20,000 to the Democratic presidential nominee's campaign.

But Gideon Resnick of The Daily Beast reports that Quigg's backing may be a white smokescreen to help the candidate he really wants to see inaugurated in January, Donald Trump.

[T]he Clinton “endorsement” may have a simple explanation: Will Quigg is full of it. He can’t provide any details about his alleged donations to her campaign, his beliefs don’t line up with a single one of her policy stances, and even fellow Klan members think he’s bluffing.

Resnick goes on to quote a Clinton campaign spokesman saying there is no record of a Quigg contribution and a federal election official pointing out it would be a crime to send money to a candidate under a different name or have others donate to hide the true benefactor. Why would Quigg hide a contribution if he is now bragging about it anyway?

There is also the matter of Quigg, the grand dragon of the West Coast chapter of the Loyal White Knights of the KKK, having tweeted support for Trump since he created a Twitter account in September of last year.

@realDonaldTrump You Sir are the only hope we have of getting WHITE AMERICA BACK! WE all will be voting for you! CHURCH OF INVISABLE EMPIRE.

Not that any of this stopped Fox & Friends from showing a video of Quigg saying he supports Clinton, which of course chips away at the Democratic campaign theme that the only candidate preferred by white supremacists in the presidential race is Trump.

By the way, Resnick's interviews with Quigg find the klukker deliberately enigmatic when it comes to answering why the Clinton campaign has no record of him giving it money or the reason why he supports the Democrat.

When it comes to the latter, Quigg has said elsewhere that he has been informed of Clinton's true agenda—which apparently folds into his own (anti-Jew, -black, -immigrant, pro-gun)—but that he cannot reveal his sources.
