Incubus' Brandon Boyd and Hurley Collaborate on Benefit Collection

Incubus singer Brandon Boyd–who is also known as a visual artist, activist and surfer–collaborated with surf brand Hurley to for the benefit of H.O.P.E. (Helping Other People Everywhere). Boyd created watercolor and ink drawings that Hurley printed on their shirts, and they're selling at Buckle nationwide and online at Hurley.com starting Friday. Part of the proceeds will benefit HOPE, a 501(c)3 non-profit focused on involving artists and their contributions in campaigns, programs and events to support existing social projects that promote education and peace around the world.

On Saturday, the original works that the shirts are based on will be on
exhibit at Hurley. Boyd will also paint a mural on a wall of the Hurley
)( SPACE gallery for the show. The event, which is open to the public,
will take place on Saturday, April 2 from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. at the
Hurley )( SPACE Gallery (1945 Placentia Avenue, Costa Mesa, CA 92627).
