“Making this story even more hilarious…the guitarist, Keith Yackey was once an associate pastor at Calvary Chapel Saving Grace in Yorba Linda, then moved to Belgrade Montana to open another Calvary Chapel church. This was followed by his next calling, Las Vegas real estate mogul, which of course logically led to his creating rock/rap band backed by Hannah Montana-esque graphic design.”
This is the same guy who told KPCC's Alex Cohen that the band was motivated by wanting to bring awareness to child homelessness in America, and denied it was all a publicity stunt to sell their music. “We were thinking we needed to do something big to grab the attention of the American people to this cause of the 1.5 million homeless children,” he said.
