Ice Cream Man's Xmas Extravaganza

Lucky us for getting to live in the town Ice Cream Man calls home, which means when he stays local for the winter, we all get warmed up with free hot chocolate and this annual Prospector blow-out! Can’t tell you much about “Stupid Tim And The Hot Loads”—other than how good it felt to type—because that’s a local band under pseudonym, but we can clue you on the rest. You’ll get country rock from Johnny Corndawg, which you’d think would be just like Ray Wylie Hubbard/Kinky Friedman/Johnny Paycheck, but instead comes off way more like the Knitters or the Sadies—a tribute to a great thing, as opposed to the thing itself. Openers Audacity are the righteous successors to both the Adolescents and the Descendents, who proved then as Audacity do now that freaked-out kids from SoCal suburbs can knock out some of the most ambitious and artful punk rock ever to lend some honor to the genre. His gift to you—enjoy!
