“I Survived the 2013 Vans US Open of Surfing” Stickers are Now Out from Someone Somewhere

We've been having discussions with our web and legal folks here at the Weekly about fair use of photographs on our blogs. Frankly, it's left some of us so freaked out we're now unsure of what we can and cannot post. So, to be on the safe side, we're relying on an artist's rendering (by me, the artist) of an actual sticker apparently being hawked or doled out by someone somewhere in response to Sunday's riots in Huntington Beach. (The full version of the sticker is after the jump …)

It looks like this through my double IPA-blurred eyes:

“Locals Only” cap tip to ProfDauber, who has a photograph of the actual sticker HERE.

The good professor is not sure who has these stickers, although he assumes it's a very well known Huntington Beach surf shop. Wherever you find it, we suspect coming next will be tees emblazoned with “My grandma went to the Surf City riots and all I got was a lousy t-shirt.”

With matching bandana!
