Hugh Jackman Cooks Korean Food in PBS Series

Who knew that Wolverine could cook Korean food? The clip you see is a teaser for the PBS series, Kimchi Chronicles, which is a food documentary produced by the same man who gave us Spain…On The Road Again with Mario Batali and Gwyneth Paltrow.

On this new travelogue/cooking show/documentary, as I previously reported,
famous French chef Jean-Georges Vongerichten and his half-Korean wife
Marja has recruited not only Hugh Jackman, but also Heather Graham to
explore and promote the foods of South Korea.

The Australian
actor actually narrates. “Korean food isn't shy,” he says in a genial
growl. “It's all about loud, punchy flavors. About ingredients that take
time to pickle and ferment in giant earthenware pots.” Bourdain
probably never thought he'd have to compete with an X-Men.

The show has already started its 13-episode arc in NYC yesterday, May 8th, and is slated to hit local PBS stations throughout the country this summer.
